Job Title: Accounting Clerk III

Job Summary: --Assist the Payroll staff in all functions related to the preparation of timesheets, labor reports, and payroll processing for multiple corporate entities.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities: --Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of this position • Administration of the Deltek Time Collection database and processing of all timesheets on a semi-monthly basis.

• Input of tax withholding and direct deposit information and set up of garnishments and liens.

• Calculation of overtime and out of cycle payments.

• Calculation of leave accruals.

• Assist all employees with timekeeping and payroll inquiries.

• Work closely with the Human Resources Department for processing and administering salary increases, policy and procedures, and employee arrivals/departures.

• Communicate with supervisors and the Accounting regarding timekeeping and payroll issues.

• Assist with payroll tax administration.

• Assist with year end W-2 processing.

• Other duties may be assigned to meet business needs.




Qualifications:

-- Education and/or Experience • High School diploma and 3 plus years experience of payroll processing in a government contracting environment.

• Must have basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word; attention to detail; strong organizational skills; self starter; and can perform in a fast paced environment with stringent deadlines.

• ADP software and Costpoint experience desired, but not required.
