Essential duties and responsibilities include:
This position will be responsible for analyzing, reporting and controlling customer program deductions for the respective business. Recommends and implements improved deductions procedures and reporting methods. Creates reports on all customer deductions taken, lost and anticipated. This position will be responsible for the following, but not limited to:
· Processing and Analysis of Customer Deductions: Processes and analyzes deductions which customers have taken on account payments. Verifies appropriateness of deduction and secures approval or resolution of deduction discrepancies.
· Data Collection and Reporting: Utilizes software programs to generate information to manage the deduction program and provide information for financial decision making. Ensures that customer programs are documented in a timely and accurate manner.
· Procedures and Reporting Methods: Creates reports on all customer deductions taken, lost and anticipated. Recommends and implements improved deductions procedures and reporting methods in order to reduce level dollar amount and quantity of deductions.
· Financial Reporting: Ensures timeliness of month end reporting requirements and future forecasts.
· Customer Contacts: Establishes and maintains updated customer contact information including website links and passwords. Works directly with customers to resolve issues while maintaining high customer service standards.
Ideal candidate will possess:
· Must have a minimum of a 2-year degree in Accounting or related field or equivalent years of experience performing similar duties in a business environment.
· Strong personal computer skills with familiarity with ERP system is desired.
· The ability to understand and apply basic principles and techniques of accounting when analyzing problems and making decisions.
· The ability to analyze information logically to determine and perform necessary mathematical operations to solve a practical math problem. This includes the ability to extract relevant information and relationships from tables, charts, graphs, and text.
· The ability to logically examine and interpret information from different sources to understand trends.
