The position reports to the Director, Motion Picture Group Reporting.Responsibilities to include, but not limited to:* Coordinates quarterly Representation Letter and Critical Review Checklist submissions from business units* Coordinates SEC disclosure schedule submissions from business units* Prepares MD&A schedules, which will support the Profit and Loss analysis (Enhanced Analysis)* Prepares Balance Sheet and Profit and Loss flux analysis (Enhanced Analysis) templates for business units * Reconciles Paramount Hyperion reporting to Viacom Hyperion reporting* Aids in analyzing business unit submissions and incorporating material variances into the Enhanced Analysis submission to Viacom* Coordinates annual Puerto Rico statutory audit* Assists in quarterly Below-the-Line estimate submissions to Planning* Assists in coordinating SOX testing* Coordinates with external auditors to provide applicable information for annual audits and quarterly reviews* Assists in coordinating quarterly balance sheet meetings review meetings with divisions and upper management* Assists in coordinating and preparing for quarterly Viacom pre-close meetings and debrief meetings* Perform ad hoc projects as neededQualifications:Basic qualifications:* Bachelor?s Degree in Finance/Business required* Minimum of five years related work experienceDesired skills:* Strong accounting skills and knowledge of GAAP* Highly organized and detailed oriented * Ability to multi-task and handle heavy workload in a faced-paced, deadline-oriented environment * Excellent written and verbal communication skills * Excellent computer skills in Microsoft Access, Excel, Word and PowerPoint are a must* Experience with Hyperion reporting system a plusEligibility requirements:* Interested candidates must submit a resume/CV online to be considered * Must be willing to submit to a background investigation* Must be able to show eligibility to work in the United StatesParamount Pictures is an Equal Opportunity EmployerSalary/Benefits: Salary commensurate with experienceJob Location: Hollywood, CAJob Number: 5436Company URL: http://www.paramount.com/careers
